Warehouse Cleaning At FairShare In Totton
ECC recently carried out a comprehensive cleaning project at FairShare, a local food distribution center, to ensure a pristine environment for its operations. The facility, which includes a large warehouse, office space, and kitchen areas, required a detailed cleaning service to maintain hygiene and operational efficiency.
The primary objective of our project was to perform a thorough cleaning of the facility, focusing on specific areas such as windows, high level ceiling cleaning, the tops of large fridges, and the floors. This was essential to meet health and safety standards and to provide a clean working environment for the staff.
The scope of work included several key tasks. For window cleaning, both interior and exterior windows across the facility were targeted. The cleaning involved the removal of grime, fingerprints, and streaks to ensure all windows were sparkling clean and streak-free. For the deep cleaning of fridge tops, accumulated dust, grime, and residues were removed, and the surfaces were sanitized to ensure they were free of bacteria and other contaminants. Special attention was given to hard-to-reach areas to ensure a thorough clean and the results were outstanding.
We also carried out a carpet clean and a deep clean across the whole warehouse floor, involving sweeping and vacuuming of all floor surfaces, mopping and scrubbing with special equipment to remove stains and dirt build-up. Then finally polishing and buffing to restore shine and maintain durability.
Here at ECC we use eco-friendly solutions and professional-grade tools as well as non-toxic cleaning agents. This was critical for Fareshare given the nature of their working environment.
After the cleans were complete, a final inspection was carried out to ensure all areas met the cleanliness standards. This also allowed us to address any missed spots or areas needing additional cleaning.
In conclusion, the comprehensive cleaning at FairShare was a success, achieving all objectives and surpassing expectations. The facility now boasts a higher standard of cleanliness, contributing to a more pleasant and productive work environment. Regular maintenance schedules were also recommended to sustain these results.
